What is ORAGON* LEARNING HUB?
It is a one-stop learner-oriented, 1.5M worth, and K-12 curriculum compliant learning hub, which aims to improve the school community's access to information.
It aims to improve the school community's access to INFORMATION as the school currently:
Has FRUSTRATED READERS in elementary
Lacks REVIEW MATERIALS for various DepEd contests
Has No 100% functional LIBRARY
The school has 727 students across Kinder to Grade 12 levels this SY 2020-2021 and 2,313 community residents as of August 2020.
Aside from Barangay Pamurayan in Sorsogon, it will also cater to other nearby school communities.
*The word ORAGON means “a person of excellence” or the “very best” in the Bicol language.

Below are the vital components of the learning hub which will hopefully address the needs of the school community:
BIG WINS
As of December 2020, we have collected a total of Php1,402,351.00 worth of both monetary and non-monetary donations from 7 publishing houses, 12 private and public organizations, and 8 private people which was all used to make our learning hub possible and operational.
Oragon Learning Hub has likewise been chosen from among all the schools as the representative of DepEd Sorsogon City Division in the Regional Reading and Resource Fair in Legazpi, Albay last January 2020.
Further, OLH has won various awards in the 2019 and 2020 Brigada Eskwela Awarding Ceremonies of DepEd Sorsogon City.
